EXAMINATIONS

A yearly wellness examination is an important aspect of your horse's routine health care. In addition to wellness exams, we also provide a wide range of lameness and pre-purchase exam options to fulfill all of your equine needs.

VACCINATIONS

We recommend an appropriate wellness care schedule for your horse based upon his or her age and lifestyle.

SURGERY

We are well equipped to perform all routine surgeries for our equine patients. We also perform a wide range of non-routine soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. We are equipped with arthroscopic equipment that also permits minimally invasive surgery for orthopedic procedures. Our surgery suite includes a padded induction area and two padded recovery stalls.

DENTISTRY

Routine dental care if very important for our equine patients. We are equipped with power equine dental equipment for routine and advanced procedures.

RADIOLOGY/ULTRASOUND

At some point in your horse's life, they may need an x-ray or ultrasound as part of a diagnostic workup. We are equipped with ultrasound probes appropriate for both soft tissue and reproductive examinations.

ENDOSCOPY

We are equipped with a 1meter pediatric/adult endoscope to evaluate the upper respiratory tract of foals and adults.

BREEDING

We offer breeding soundness examinations (stallion and mare), pregnancy evaluation, and investigation of sub-optimal fertility. We also offer artificial insemination services including collection and shipment of cooled semen.

NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING

Your horse's nutritional requirements will change as they grow into adulthood and again when they reach their senior years. We can help you make the right choices for your horse's nutritional needs based upon its age, activity levels, and overall health. We recommend and carry Nutrena horse feed.
